Jennifer DeArmond CPC-I

I am dedicated to supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds across the lifespan. I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

After 15 years as an elementary school educator, I transitioned into the counseling field, where I have spent the past three years providing clinical services to individuals experiencing a variety of concerns, including addiction, anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. My approach with adults integrates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy. When working with children, I incorporate Child-Centered Play Therapy to foster emotional expression, resilience, and growth in a developmentally appropriate manner.

I use a compassionate and collaborative style to create a supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful changes in their lives.
